Malaysia Slams Mass Israeli Incursion at Al-Aqsa

Israeli Incursion at Al-Aqsa

KUALA LUMPUR, July 25 — Malaysia has forcefully condemned a massive incursion into the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound by over 4,200 Israeli settlers and far-right extremists, including a Zionist regime minister, under the protection of Israeli occupying forces.

In a statement released today, the Foreign Ministry (Wisma Putra) denounced the deliberate storming of Islam’s third holiest site, emphasizing that restrictions placed on Palestinian worshippers and the performance of unauthorized religious activities violate the historical and legal status quo governing the holy site, as well as international law and relevant United Nations resolutions.

“Malaysia views this reckless provocation as part of a continued pattern of violations and escalatory actions by the Israel Zionist regime in Occupied East Jerusalem aimed at undermining the sanctity of the holy site and altering its historical, legal, and demographic character,” Wisma Putra stated.

Wisma Putra stressed that the regime’s actions demonstrate a complete disregard for the religious sensitivities of Muslims worldwide, urging the international community and particularly the United Nations Security Council to step in immediately to halt violations that endanger regional stability.

“The sanctity of Islamic holy sites must be respected and preserved, and the rights of Muslim worshippers to access and perform religious obligations at the holy site must be guaranteed,” the ministry added.

Reaffirming the nation’s firm stance, Malaysia reiterated its unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people and steadfast support for their right to self-determination, including the establishment of an independent and sovereign State of Palestine based on pre-1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
