Four Family Members Found Dead in Tragic Desa ParkCity Incident

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 27 — Four members of a family, including two young children, were found dead today at a residential unit in Desa ParkCity, Persiaran Residen, according to police.

Kuala Lumpur Police Chief Datuk Fadil Marsus stated that police received an emergency report at 3:32 pm regarding a 48-year-old man who was believed to have fallen from the residential building.

Upon arriving at the scene, police officers, assisted by the Fire and Rescue Department, breached the door of the residential unit, where they discovered three more victims dead inside separate rooms.

The deceased inside the residence were identified as the man’s 47-year-old wife and their two young children, a nine-year-old girl and a seven-year-old boy.

“The victims comprised a 47-year-old woman, the man’s wife, and their two children, a nine-year-old girl and a seven-year-old boy,” Fadil said in a statement today.

Initial physical inspections revealed that all three victims inside the unit had sustained severe, fatal injuries to their necks. Police also recovered a knife at the scene believed to have been used during the incident.

Authorities confirmed that the exact motive and cause of the incident remain under active investigation. The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder alongside a Sudden Death Report (SDR).
