KUALA PILAH, Jun 18 — Five units of old double-storey shop lots in Kuala Pilah were gutted and destroyed by fire last night.
Negeri Sembilan Fire and Rescue Department assistant director (Operations) Ahmad Mukhlis Mokhtar said the fire fighting operation took almost two hours to be completed and involved 40 firemen and engines from four fire stations, namely from Kuala Pilah, Seri Menanti, Bahau and Seremban 2.
No casualty was reported. The cause of fire and losses are still being investigated.
