KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 24 – A site supervisor was killed and a lorry driver sustained serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle driven by a suspected drunk driver along Lebuhraya Sultan Iskandar early Saturday morning, October 24, 2026.

Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT) Chief ACP Mohd Zamzuri Mohd Isa stated that police received an emergency report regarding the fatal incident at 5:08 AM.

The crash occurred at approximately 5:00 AM on Lebuhraya Sultan Iskandar, along the stretch leading from Jalan Damansara towards Jalan Parlimen.

At the time of the collision, the two victims—aged 28 and 49—were alongside three Bangladeshi contract workers setting up warning road signs under a Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) roadwork project.

Preliminary investigations reveal that a 26-year-old local male driver lost control of his car, skidded, and plowed directly into the workers positioned on the left lane of the highway.

The supervisor succumbed to his injuries while receiving emergency medical treatment, while the lorry driver sustained head and right-hand injuries and remains hospitalized at Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL).
