KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 8 — The Harimau Malaya secured their place in the 2026 ASEAN Cup semi-finals after delivering a hard-fought 1-0 victory over the Philippines in their final Group B fixture at the Kuala Lumpur Football Stadium in Cheras tonight.

Facing a mandatory win-or-go-home scenario to continue their cup campaign, interim head coach Tan Cheng Hoe’s charges put on a spirited display, energized by a sea of home supporters in black and yellow filling the 18,000-capacity stadium.
