KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 5 — Prime Minister’s Political Secretary Datuk Azman Abidin has been appointed as the Ampang Parliamentary Constituency Coordinator, pledging to enhance the delivery of welfare support and government assistance to local residents in a structured, efficient, and transparent manner.

In a statement posted on Facebook today following his appointment by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Azman committed to working closely with the Implementation Coordination Unit (ICU) under the Prime Minister’s Department and relevant government agencies to ensure that official welfare initiatives reach target groups effectively.

“Any applications for welfare assistance related to residents in the Ampang parliamentary constituency may be submitted directly to the Office of the Prime Minister’s Political Secretary for the necessary coordination,” Azman stated.

Azman explained that the distribution mechanism will also involve active cooperation with state assemblymen representing the Ampang parliamentary constituency, local community leaders, and relevant public agencies to ensure public well-being remains closely monitored and supported.

Concluding his statement, Azman emphasized that he and his team are fully committed to executing their assigned duties with high standards of professionalism, integrity, and accountability to keep the needs of Ampang residents at the forefront of government outreach efforts.
