PUTRAJAYA, Aug 30 — Putrajaya Member of Parliament Datuk Dr Radzi Jidin has announced the distribution of 80 refurbished laptops to underprivileged students in the federal territory to support their higher education and academic needs.

Writing on social media, the former Education Minister acknowledged that while the local demand for educational devices far exceeds the current supply, the initial batch of 80 laptops will be channeled strictly to students who are genuinely in need. He specified that each unit is equipped with an 11th Generation Intel Core i7 processor to ensure it meets the computational demands of modern tertiary studies, adding that every application will undergo thorough vetting by his office to guarantee the assistance reaches the most deserving recipients.

Radzi expressed his gratitude to the donors who contributed the refurbished laptops, emphasizing that such support enables his parliamentary service center, Putrajaya Care, to continuously create educational opportunities for local youth. He highlighted that despite operating without official constituency allocations, Putrajaya Care remains dedicated to finding practical solutions and maximizing available resources to assist the local community.

Eligible Putrajaya students requiring a laptop for their studies are invited to submit their applications online through the official portal link provided by his office. Radzi expressed hope that the initiative will lighten the academic and financial burdens on students while opening greater pathways for their future success.
