Mother and Two Sons Killed in Tragic Kluang House Fire

KLUANG, Sept 10 – A mother and her two sons lost their lives after a blaze engulfed a two-storey terrace house in Taman Titiwangsa, Kluang, late Tuesday night. Authorities identified the victims as 49-year-old Noraini Ibrahim and her sons, 18-year-old Khairul Nurhaziqq Khairulnizam and 11-year-old Khairul Nurhadiff.

In an official statement, the Johor Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) confirmed receiving an emergency call at 10.44 pm. A team of 14 personnel from the Kluang Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) was immediately dispatched, arriving at the location approximately five minutes later.

Describing the severity of the blaze, the department noted that “The fire involved a two-storey terrace house measuring 16 feet by 70 feet, with about 50 per cent of the house’s structure engulfed in flames.” Emergency responders located the family trapped inside as firefighters fought to contain the raging flames. Tragically, JBPM confirmed that “There were three victims trapped inside the house, and all of them were confirmed dead by Health Ministry (MOH) personnel at the scene,”

Firefighters successfully brought the outbreak under control by 12.32 am. The emergency response operation deployed two SITRAK fire engines alongside an Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) unit.
