KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 8
– Malaysians must maintain strong solidarity with Palestine and continue sending humanitarian aid through verified channels to support populations facing ongoing hardships, declared Minister of Agriculture and Food Security Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu.

In a statement posted to his official Facebook page on Thursday, October 8, 2026, Mohamad stressed that global diplomatic pressure must be sustained to halt regional violence and guarantee unhindered access to aid shipments.

“The lives of civilians, especially children, must be protected. This struggle demands our steadfastness and unity,” Mohamad stated, reflecting on the situation three years after the events of October 7, 2023.

  • Direct Assistance: Malaysians are encouraged to channel monetary and relief contributions through official and recognized organizations to ensure direct delivery to those in need.
  • Commemoration and Prayer: Mohamad called on citizens to pray for victims, grieving families, and for a lasting, just resolution to the conflict.
