KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 31 – The Unity Government has expressed deep appreciation for the unwavering dedication and hard work of courier personnel across Malaysia in ensuring parcels and documents reach recipients safely.
In an official statement released on Saturday, October 31, 2026, Communications Minister Datuk Seri Fahmi Fadzil highlighted that courier workers endure challenging daily conditions—including adverse weather, scorching heat, heavy rain, and urban traffic jams—to maintain seamless logistics operations.
“We greatly appreciate your hard work, commitment and service every day,” Fahmi stated in a social media message extending official National Courier Day greetings. “May every journey be smooth and, most importantly, may you always be protected and stay safe while carrying out your duties.”
Deputy Communications Minister Teo Nie Ching echoed these sentiments, noting that courier personnel carry on the traditional role of postal carriers by connecting families, friends, and commercial communities across the nation.
Teo emphasized that their duties extend far beyond physical deliveries, as they convey messages, hopes, and economic ties while strengthening relationships among citizens.
She urged all delivery workers to continuously prioritize road safety while executing their everyday logistics responsibilities.
National Courier Day is officially observed on November 1 each year to honor the vital contributions of courier workers within Malaysia’s broader supply chain and economic structure.
