KOTA KINABALU, Sept 10 – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has called on Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) to continuously strengthen the administration of both the Federal and State Governments to ensure that implemented policies deliver tangible, direct benefits to the public. Speaking in his capacity as PKR President, Anwar emphasized that the party must move with the collective strength of its entire membership, close ranks, and embrace support from all layers of society so that PKR remains closely aligned with the pulse and aspirations of the people.
Anwar underscored that Sabah PKR will continue to serve as a principal force carrying the voice of the people and driving the country’s broader reform and change agenda. His comments followed a brief meeting held with the Sabah PKR State Leadership Council (MPN) in Kota Kinabalu to address current regional issues and prioritize public welfare initiatives across the state.
Highlighting the need for early organizational readiness, Anwar urged party leaders and grassroots members to immediately begin structuring their campaign operations ahead of future polls. In an official update shared on his Facebook page on Wednesday night, he stressed, “At the same time, the preparation of the machinery to face the upcoming General Election must be streamlined from now on with unity and clear determination,” calling for shared resolve and party cohesion moving forward.
