IPOH, Oct 8 – Two siblings lost their lives early Thursday morning after the motorcycle they were riding collided with a car in Kampung Teluk Sareh, near Kampung Gajah.
Perak Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Assistant Director of Operations Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad identified the victims as Siti Qazrina Abdul Rahman, 19, and her younger brother, Adam Danial, 18.
Emergency services received a distress call at 4:29 AM on October 8, 2026, prompting the immediate dispatch of a team from the Kampung Gajah Fire and Rescue Station to the crash site.
Incident Details and Medical Response
Upon arrival, rescue personnel discovered both vehicles off the main road following the collision:
- Accident Scene: Rescuers found a Toyota Yaris inside a roadside ditch alongside the motorcycle rider and pillion passenger.
- Fatalities: Medical personnel confirmed the two siblings died at the scene from injuries sustained in the collision.
- Injured Driver: The driver of the Toyota Yaris suffered serious injuries and was transported to Seri Iskandar Hospital for urgent medical care.
- Police Handover: JBPM personnel retrieved the bodies of the deceased siblings and handed them over to the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) for post-mortem examinations and further action.
Police are continuing investigations to determine the cause and circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.
