Kuala Lumpur, Dec 14 — The Kuala Lumpur High Court today ordered the home minister to approve the registration of Muda as a political party within 14 days’ time.
The court also ordered the ministry to pay costs of RM10,000, Muda said in a post on its official Twitter account.
Muda applied to the Registrar of Societies (RoS) to be registered as a political party on Sept 17, 2020.

However, the RoS, which is under the purview of the home ministry, rejected its application on Jan 6.
The party had then appealed to Home Minister Hamzah Zainudin on Feb 4 and filed its first judicial review to challenge the RoS decision on April 26.
Hamzah however rejected the application, following which Muda filed a fresh application challenging the minister’s decision.
The court granted Muda leave to file the application on Sept 21, the hearing of which was granted today.
