KUALA LUMPUR, July 13 — The vaccination centre at the Ideal Convention Centre (IDCC), Shah Alam, is closed for one day today due to a COVID-19 positive case among workers at the facility.
The COVID-19 Immunisation Task Force (CITF) in a statement said the closure was to allow sanitation work to be carried out, after obtaining the result of the COVID-19 test last night.

“As a precaution, the CITF also recommends that those who received their vaccination at the IDCC between June 29 and yesterday to conduct a self-assessment and get tested for COVID-19 should they have any symptoms.
“Today’s vaccination appointments will be rescheduled to another date which will be informed as soon as possible,” according to the statement.
