KUALA LUMPUR, July 28 (Bernama) — Terengganu FC II will be relegated to the FAM league next season, after it finished at the bottom position at the 2018 Premier League losing 1-2 to MIFA at the Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin Shah Stadium Friday night.
Head coach Mustaffa Kamal Abdul Wahab closed the league this season with 17 points after 20 matches with only four wins and five draws.
In the action this evening, Terengganu FC II came down with a mission almost impossible to remain in the Premier League after a scoreless draw in the first half before finding the net in the 56th minute through its import striker Akkani Sunday Wasiu.
However, the excitement did not last long when Seydi L’Imam equalised two minutes later followed by a winner through Kpah Sean Sherman who scored in the 75th minute, helping MIFA finish this season in third place.
