MOSCOW, Oct 21 – SpaceX founder and Chief Executive Officer Elon Musk has predicted that annual revenue for his aerospace and satellite enterprise could hit US$1 trillion as early as 2028.
Posting on social media platform X on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, Musk lauded the company’s financial trajectory following strong quarterly earnings disclosures.
“As crazy as this sounds, US$1T in SpaceX revenue in 2028 is no longer impossible,” Musk wrote in response to the company’s latest financial statements.
The revised 2028 timeline accelerates Musk’s previous financial outlook issued in June, where he projected SpaceX would reach the US$1 trillion annual revenue benchmark by 2030.
Q3 Financial Surge and Corporate Restructuring
Key operational metrics and recent corporate developments shaping SpaceX’s valuation include:

- Corporate Integration: Founded in 2002, SpaceX expanded its operational footprint in February after completing a merger with Musk’s artificial intelligence enterprise, xAI.
- Record Initial Public Offering: In mid-June, SpaceX transitioned to a public listing, raising nearly US$86 billion in a record-breaking initial public offering (IPO).
- Starship Test Flight: The milestone financial disclosures coincide with preparations for SpaceX’s unmanned Starship fifth test flight, scheduled to lift off from its launch port in Texas.
SpaceX continues to expand its global Starlink broadband distribution alongside commercial launch contracts for institutional clients.
