ISTANBUL, Oct 11 – The Saudi-led coalition operating in Yemen has vowed a firm response after a drone and missile attack targeting King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh left 12 people dead and 309 others injured.
Coalition spokesman Turki al-Maliki held the Houthi movement accountable for the Saturday strike, which directly struck one of the main passenger terminal buildings, impacting both international travelers and airport staff.
Al-Maliki characterized the assault as a war crime under international humanitarian law and confirmed that the Joint Forces Command will execute targeted retaliatory measures in compliance with international law.
