Ramanan: MYFutureJobs Features Over 96,000 Active Vacancies With Competitive Pay

PUTRAJAYA, July 21 — A total of 96,700 job opportunities remain actively available on the MYFutureJobs portal as of June 30, underscoring strong industrial demand for local talent across key economic sectors, Human Resources Minister Datuk Seri R. Ramanan revealed today.

Managed by the Social Security Organisation (PERKESO), the national employment platform has advertised a cumulative total of 668,321 job openings to date. Out of the 96,700 active listings, nearly 40 percent represent high-skilled positions, more than 30 percent cater to Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) qualifications, and almost 20 percent offer monthly remuneration exceeding RM5,000.

“This reflects the industry’s high demand for local talent,” Ramanan said in an official press statement today, emphasizing that the data proves career opportunities remain abundant across diverse skill levels and industries.

To accelerate back-to-work timelines for jobseekers, the MADANI Government through PERKESO provides an integrated career support suite via MYFutureJobs. The ecosystem offers tailored job-matching services, professional career counselling, resume evaluations, interview coaching, and targeted retraining and upskilling modules.

“In addition to digital platforms, the MADANI Government, via PERKESO, is also expanding access to job opportunities by organising the MYFutureJobs Career Carnival nationwide as part of initiatives to empower job opportunities for the people,” the minister noted.

Between January and May this year, PERKESO organized 2,989 career empowerment programmes that engaged 86,594 jobseekers nationwide. These physical and digital outreach sessions resulted in 14,029 direct job placements, while a further 15,809 candidates advanced to second-stage interview rounds with prospective employers.

To remove financial barriers for workers taking up distant job offers, the federal government also provides Mobility Assistance grants of up to RM1,000 to cover relocation expenses for successful applicants moving to a new area to start work.

Ramanan assured that the Ministry of Human Resources (KESUMA) and PERKESO will continue deepening strategic collaborations with corporate employers and industry associations to generate high-quality employment, upskill the national workforce, and foster sustainable career pathways. He encouraged jobseekers and workers contemplating career transitions to utilize the MYFutureJobs portal as an official gateway to elevated employment prospects.
