PKR Must Reshape Narrative Around MADANI Economy to Translate Reforms into Action, Says Fuziah

MADANI Economy

MELAKA, Aug 16 — Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) must strengthen its political thinking, communication strategies, and public narrative surrounding the MADANI Economy framework to ensure its reform agenda yields meaningful outcomes for the people.

Delivering her winding-up speech at the PKR National Congress 2026 today, PKR Secretary-General Datuk Dr Fuziah Salleh called on leaders across all organizational levels to take a more proactive stance in translating the party’s core ideology into tangible administrative action.

“If delegates believe that this is the framework of thinking and the framework for moving forward, then we need to reshape the way we think, the way we communicate and the narrative that we put forward,” Fuziah told delegates.

Fuziah highlighted that implementing institutional reforms demands unwavering commitment and strict discipline across both the party machinery and government administration.

“Our task ahead is a challenging one. Yes, we know we want to win the war, but we must have sufficient ammunition. It will not be easy, it is not a small task, and it demands that we be highly disciplined and deeply committed to translating that thinking into action,” she stated.

Reiterating the party’s core identity and future trajectory, Fuziah stressed that PKR remains committed to being an inclusive movement that champions the needs of all Malaysians regardless of racial or ethnic background.

“In our party, there is no such thing as saying this is the right of the Malays, this is the right of the Indians. It is the poor whom we champion, not based on race or socioeconomic background,” she added.

Fuziah concluded that PKR’s dedication to justice, paired with the active execution of the MADANI Economy framework, will serve as the foundation for the party as it navigates contemporary political and governance challenges.
