MELAKA, Oct 27 – Pakatan Harapan (PH) will adopt a prudent campaign approach in the upcoming 16th Melaka State Election by focusing on showcasing the Unity Government’s policy achievements and welfare initiatives under Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Home Minister and Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Vice-President Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail emphasized that conveying government successes directly to voters remains essential to building electoral confidence.
Speaking at the launch of the Paya Rumput State Legislative Assembly Operations Room in Krubong on Monday night, October 26, 2026, Saifuddin Nasution rejected negative campaign tactics, stating that PKR will refrain from insults and divisive rhetoric.
“Our politics is different. Our politics is one that invites peace, love, and unity. Only then does politics have value,” he affirmed during his launch speech.
The event was attended by Melaka PKR State Leadership Council Acting Chairman Adam Adli Abd Halim and PH candidate for the Paya Rumput seat, Datuk Azman Abidin.
