GEORGE TOWN, Oct 21 – Five international cruise liners carrying over 10,000 passengers will make their maiden calls at Penang’s Swettenham Pier Cruise Terminal (SPCT) between late October and December 2026, Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing announced.
In a Facebook update on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, Tiong confirmed that the visiting vessels comprise Navigator of the Seas, Villa Vie Odyssey, Adora Mediterranea, Star Seeker, and Celebrity Solstice.
Navigator of the Seas is scheduled as the first vessel to dock at SPCT, arriving at 2:30 PM on Friday, October 30.
“It reflects Malaysia’s ongoing efforts to expand its international cruise tourism market through closer cooperation with cruise operators, chartering travel agencies and tourism industry partners,” Tiong noted.
