Bersatu To Form State Government if Given Mandate

SEREMBAN — Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) is entering the 16th Negeri Sembilan state election with an aggressive deployment, officially contesting 24 out of the 36 state legislative assembly seats up for grabs.

Bersatu President Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin highlighted the strategic significance of the seat allocation, noting that the 24 contested seats comfortably clear the simple majority of 19 seats required to independently form the next state government.

“God willing, if given the mandate by the people of Negeri Sembilan, Bersatu will form the state government,” Muhyiddin declared in his Facebook post. “Bersatu is determined to utilize this mandate to the best of our ability for the welfare of the people and the overall progress of Negeri Sembilan.”

The opposition coalition leader revealed that a comprehensive manifestos featuring specific socioeconomic offers tailored explicitly for the local populace will be unveiled to the public in the near future.

Muhyiddin expressed confidence that the party’s grassroots outreach and policy alternatives will resonate with voters seeking administrative change. He urged the electorate to place their trust in the capability of the party’s field candidates to deliver superior public service, offering prayers for a clean sweep at the polls under the campaign slogan “Bersatu Demi Nismilan” (United for Negeri Sembilan).

The high-stakes deployment sets the stage for intense multi-cornered contests across the state, as the party positions itself as the primary alternative to the incumbent establishment ahead of the fast-approaching polling dates.
