KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 7 – The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) announced a major leadership reshuffle involving the transfer and promotion of 19 senior officers across state contingents, departments, and tactical commands.

According to a statement issued by PDRM Secretary DCP Mohammad Mashdik Yahya on Saturday, November 7, 2026, the key appointments feature new police chiefs for Pahang, Sabah, and Sarawak:

• Datuk Mohammad Shaharul Md Osman: Bukit Aman Special Branch II Deputy Director appointed as the new Pahang Police Chief (effective Dec 7).
