Joint Malaysia-Singapore Operation Busted Cross-Border Online Vice Ring Operating Out Of KL And Johor

Malaysia Singapore cross border prostitution syndicate Op Noda Rentas Sempadan

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 21  – A joint tactical operation between the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) and the Singapore Police Force (SPF) dismantled a cross-border prostitution syndicate, leading to the arrest of 30 individuals across Kuala Lumpur and Johor.

Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Director Datuk M. Kumar confirmed on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, that the joint crackdown—codenamed ‘Op Noda-Rentas Sempadan’—targeted a vice network using Malaysia as an operational hub to manage online prostitution services targeting clients in Singapore.

The syndicate had reportedly been operating in Singapore since 2024, basing its digital management and server infrastructure in residential units across Malaysia to evade Singaporean law enforcement.

During the raids on Tuesday, October 20, Bukit Aman CID and the Johor Contingent arrested nine primary suspects wanted directly by the SPF, comprising one Malaysian, seven Chinese nationals, and one Singaporean aged between 29 and 56. Five of the foreign nationals were also found to have overstayed their Malaysian visas.

Extradition Framework, Additional Detentions, and Seizures

Key operational metrics and legal handovers under the cross-border operation include:

  • Extradition via Interpol: The nine primary suspects will be handed over to Singaporean authorities via Bukit Aman’s D12 Division (NCB/Interpol) following magistrate identity verification under Section 5(3) of the Summons and Warrants (Special Provisions) Act 1971.
  • Operational Call Center Arrests: Police detained an additional 21 foreign nationals (five men and 16 women aged 19 to 41) caught managing and promoting the syndicate’s two active prostitution portals. This group comprised 17 Chinese, three Vietnamese, and one Laotian national.
  • Digital Seizures: Raiding teams confiscated electronic equipment, laptops, router setups, and mobile devices used to process bookings and website maintenance.
  • Bilateral Intelligence Sharing: Datuk M. Kumar noted that the crackdown underscores the success of real-time intelligence exchange between PDRM and SPF in neutralizing cross-border syndicate hubs.
