LOS ANGELES, Aug 17 — American actress Hayden Panettiere, widely recognized for her standout roles in hit television series Heroes and Nashville, as well as the feature film Scream 4, has passed away at the age of 36.
Her passing was confirmed by her father, Skip Panettiere, in a statement released to media outlets.
“It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of our beloved Hayden. She was an incredible light and a force of nature who brought immeasurable love and joy to all who knew her – and to the millions who watched her onscreen,” her father said.
The circumstances surrounding her death were not immediately disclosed.
Panettiere was previously engaged to former world heavyweight boxing champion Wladimir Klitschko, with whom she shares a daughter.
