Fahmi Reza remanded for one day"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>KUALA LUMPUR, April 24 \u2014 Activist&nbsp;Fahmi Reza Mohd Zarin has been remanded for a day to facilitate police investigation into a social media posting deemed insulting to&nbsp;Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku&nbsp;Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department (CID) director\u00a0Datuk Huzir Mohamed, in a statement today, said the remand order was obtained at the Dang Wangi police headquarters here where Fahmi Reza was\u00a0detained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Yesterday,&nbsp;Huzir said&nbsp;Fahmi Reza was arrested here by a CID team from Bukit Aman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The arrest was made following a police report lodged against the account holder of Fahmi Reza&#8217;s Facebook regarding a posting involving Tunku&nbsp;Hajah Azizah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said investigations were being conducted by the Classified Crime Investigation Unit, D5, of Bukit Aman CID under Section&nbsp;4(1) of the Sedition Act&nbsp;1948 and Section&nbsp;233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act&nbsp;1998.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2014 <a
