Singapore will be suspending the Reciprocal Green Lane (RGL) arrangements with three countries including Malaysia for a period of three months from\u00a0Feb 1,\u00a0the republic\u2019s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The other two countries are Germany and South Korea, it said in a statement here today.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe Government of Singapore will review the Reciprocal Green Lane arrangements at the end of the suspension period,\u201d said the ministry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ministry noted that travellers who have already been approved to enter Singapore under these arrangements can continue to do so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/newmalaysiatimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/6be335907086e821229c6baa2c9852815e705c6cb0f11-1024x640.jpg\" alt=\"rgl\" class=\"wp-image-8035\" width=\"431\" height=\"269\" srcset=\"https:\/\/newmalaysiatimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/6be335907086e821229c6baa2c9852815e705c6cb0f11-1024x640.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/newmalaysiatimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/6be335907086e821229c6baa2c9852815e705c6cb0f11-300x188.jpg 300w, https:\/\/newmalaysiatimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/6be335907086e821229c6baa2c9852815e705c6cb0f11-768x480.jpg 768w, https:\/\/newmalaysiatimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/6be335907086e821229c6baa2c9852815e705c6cb0f11-160x100.jpg 160w, https:\/\/newmalaysiatimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/6be335907086e821229c6baa2c9852815e705c6cb0f11-350x219.jpg 350w, https:\/\/newmalaysiatimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/6be335907086e821229c6baa2c9852815e705c6cb0f11-800x500.jpg 800w, https:\/\/newmalaysiatimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/6be335907086e821229c6baa2c9852815e705c6cb0f11.jpg 1110w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 431px) 100vw, 431px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The MFA said the government of Singapore will continue to monitor the global situation and adjust its&nbsp;border measures to manage the risk of importation and transmission to the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Any changes to border measures will be updated on the SafeTravel website and travellers are advised to visit the website to check for the most updated border measures, it said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Besides the three countries, Singapore has&nbsp;RGL arrangements&nbsp;with&nbsp;Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia,&nbsp;Japan, as well as six regions in China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The RGL&nbsp;aimed to facilitate&nbsp;short-term essential business and official travel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As of&nbsp;Jan 29,&nbsp;Singapore has reported a total of &nbsp;59,449 COVID-19 confirmed cases of which 2,628&nbsp;are classified as imported, 2,313&nbsp;as community cases&nbsp;and 54,508&nbsp;involving&nbsp;dorm residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8212;
