WASHINGTON, Nov 4 (Bernama) — US President Donald Trump claimed early Wednesday he is winning the election and will make a statement soon, Sputnik News reported .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I will be making a statement tonight. A big WIN!,” Trump said via Twitter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump also accused Democrats of trying to steal the election.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We will never let them do it. Votes cannot be cast after the Poles (polls) are closed!” he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just minutes before the tweet, his Democratic rival Joe Biden said he was “on track” to win the election.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, Twitter has flagged Trump’s tweet post accusing his opponents of trying to steal the election as potentially misleading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Some or all of the content shared in this Tweet is disputed and might be misleading about an election or other civic process,” the social media platform explained its decision to hide the message.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He trails Democratic challenger Joe Biden 237 to 213 of electoral votes, according to Fox News.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
