KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 16 —\u00a0The Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah today conveyed greetings to members of the\u00a0 Malaysian Armed Forces,\u00a0veterans as well as others who had\u00a0served the military\u00a0in conjunction with the\u00a0MAF 87th\u00a0anniversary\u00a0today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His Majesty also expressed his deep appreciation to MAF’s members especially those\u00a0in the front line who had worked hard, sacrificing their time and energy to help the government curb the spread of COVID-19\u00a0since the beginning of this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“As the Supreme Commander of the MAF, His Majesty highly commends and expresses the highest appreciation for the services and sacrifices made by all present and former members of the MAF in protecting the sovereignty and security of our beloved country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“May the MAF continue to be a respected force at the international stage,” the King said in his post on Istana Negara’s Facebook page today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Malaysian Armed Forces anniversary is celebrated\u00a0on Sept\u00a016 each year. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
