KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 6  — Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein today apologised for smoking an e-cigarette in the Dewan Rakyat on Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Sembrong Member of Parliament also promised not to repeat his mistake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Regarding the issue involving me today (viral video of vaping), I admit it was my mistake. Once again I apologize to the honorable House and all Malaysians.\u00a0I promise not to repeat the mistake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I have always maintained that no one is above the law. The Ministry of Health has compounded me and I will pay the fine. Thank you all for your comment and advice,” he said on his Facebook tonight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hishammuddin had made a similar apology on his Twitter account earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
