{"id":5254,"date":"2020-07-29T11:04:24","date_gmt":"2020-07-29T03:04:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newmalaysiatimes.com\/?p=5254"},"modified":"2020-07-29T11:04:27","modified_gmt":"2020-07-29T03:04:27","slug":"covid-19-kuching-declared-a-red-zone","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newmalaysiatimes.com\/?p=5254","title":{"rendered":"COVID-19: Kuching declared a red zone"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>KUCHING, July 28 &nbsp;&#8212; From yellow zone, Kuching has now become a red zone after 16 local COVID-19&nbsp;cases were reported said&nbsp;State Disaster Management Committee (JPBN) chairman Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said this brings&nbsp;the total local transmission&nbsp;cases in the district to 52 in the last two weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Samarahan, Serian, Bau, and Lundu districts have also changed their status from the green\u00a0to yellow zone. Quarantine and RT-PCR&nbsp;test costs&nbsp;are at their own&nbsp;expense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAs for the guidelines for oil and gas industry workers, Malaysians from the peninsula, Labuan, Sabah, and foreign nationals, they will be placed in quarantine centres for 14 days.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe RT-PCR test will be taken on the second and 10th day.
