<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\nOn the 11 imported cases, he said they were from Saudi Arabia (one case in Sabah), Ireland (one case in Kuala Lumpur); South Korea (one case in Sarawak and one case in Kuala Lumpur); India (one case in Kedah); Russia (one case in Kuala Lumpur); United States of America (one case in Kuala Lumpur); South America (one case in Sarawak); United Kingdom (two cases in Sarawak); and the Philippines (one case in Labuan).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the 28 cases of local transmission, he said, 22 involved Malaysians and six were non-citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said 19 cases were recorded in Sarawak, comprising the Sentosa Cluster (seven cases); Kuching Engineering Cluster (four cases); Satok Cluster (four cases); Mambong Cluster (one case); Melbourne PUI Cluster (one case), one case during screening on arrival at airport and and another case detected through self-screening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The two cases detected during screening at the airport and self-screening had been admitted to the Sarawak General Hospital, he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, Sabah recorded two high-risk screening cases, comprising one case at the Sabah Women and Children’s Hospital and another at the Lahad Datu Hospital, while Kedah recorded one case from the Sivagangga PUI Cluster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cFor cases of infection in the country (6 cases) among non-citizens, two cases are from the Sentosa Cluster in Sarawak and four cases are from the PUI Sivagangga Cluster in Kedah,” he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said there were six cases of recovery recorded today, bringing the cumulative number of cases that have fully recovered to 8,607 cases or 96.2 percent of the total cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Only one positive case is being treated at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and no COVID-19-related death reported today, he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
