Vidyananthan said the latest district to be hit by the flood was Batu Pahat, where a relief center was opened at Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Sampurna\u00a0to accommodate 15 victims, involving four families, from\u00a0Kampung Sungai Punggor, Kampung Sungai Punggor Kecil and\u00a0Kampung Parit Mengkudu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/newmalaysiatimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/3044c1fabbc5403dd71dde7f0e662bd75f0bf00fea1e4-1024x555.jpg\" alt=\"center\" class=\"wp-image-5046\" width=\"486\" height=\"263\" srcset=\"https:\/\/newmalaysiatimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/3044c1fabbc5403dd71dde7f0e662bd75f0bf00fea1e4-1024x555.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/newmalaysiatimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/3044c1fabbc5403dd71dde7f0e662bd75f0bf00fea1e4-300x163.jpg 300w, https:\/\/newmalaysiatimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/3044c1fabbc5403dd71dde7f0e662bd75f0bf00fea1e4-768x416.jpg 768w, https:\/\/newmalaysiatimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/3044c1fabbc5403dd71dde7f0e662bd75f0bf00fea1e4-185x100.jpg 185w, https:\/\/newmalaysiatimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/3044c1fabbc5403dd71dde7f0e662bd75f0bf00fea1e4-350x190.jpg 350w, https:\/\/newmalaysiatimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/3044c1fabbc5403dd71dde7f0e662bd75f0bf00fea1e4-800x433.jpg 800w, https:\/\/newmalaysiatimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/3044c1fabbc5403dd71dde7f0e662bd75f0bf00fea1e4.jpg 1087w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 486px) 100vw, 486px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The other flood victims, involving 267 people (63 families) are at three relief centers in Tangkak, while in\u00a0Muar, there are 818 evacuees (215 families) at eight relief centers, with the latest one opened at SK Ismail Satu at 11 pm yesterday to accommodate the flood victims from \u00a0Kampung Kelantan and\u00a0Kampung Dato\u2019 Sri Amar Diraja, he said in a statement today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said the remaining 171 victims (49 families) were\u00a0at three relief centers in Pontian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, in SEREMBAN, the situation seemed to be improving with some of the flood evacuees having returned home, leaving\u00a0only 66 people (16 families) at three relief centers in Seremban and Port Dickson at 10 am today, from 282 victims, involving 59 families, last night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Negeri Sembilan Disaster Management Committee Secretariat, in a statement today, said the remaining evacuees at the relief centers included\u00a024 victims (five families) from Kampung Sega Hulu and\u00a0Kampung Sega Hilir in\u00a0Seremban.
