For the first time, case\u00a0hearings in the Court of Appeal will be live-streamed tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>According to a\u00a0statement\u00a0issued by the\u00a0Federal Court Chief Registrar&#8217;s Office\u00a0Corporate Communication Unit, this is to enable the public to watch the hearings live as they are conducted in the open courts and to ensure\u00a0there is continued access to justice.<\/p>\n<p>The live broadcast will be conducted at 10 am tomorrow\u00a0via the Malaysian Judiciary official portal at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.kehakiman.gov.my\/\">www.kehakiman.gov.my<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-sm-12 col-md-12 col-lg-12 mt-4 px-sm-0 px-md-5 px-lg-15 text-dark text-justify\">\n<p>In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and the Movement Control Order (MCO) implementation, the Malaysian Judiciary body has conducted hearing of specific cases online.<\/p>\n<p>In order to complement and support the online hearings, the Judiciary body is going one step further by implementing online\u00a0livestream of the case hearings.<\/p>\n<p>The hearings that\u00a0will be broadcast live tomorrow are cases\u00a0involving three appellants &#8211;\u00a0Zhoa Fangliang, Jin Haifang and\u00a0Zhu Cunhua &#8211; against\u00a0Syarikat Pengangkutan Satu Hati Sdn Bhd.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-sm-12 col-md-12 col-lg-12 mt-4 px-sm-0 px-md-5 px-lg-15 text-dark text-justify\">\n<p>Courts nationwide have been ordered to close following the MCO which came into force on March 18.<\/p>\n<p>However, proceedings for remands, new cases and bails are to be carried out as usual.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;
