KUALA LUMPUR, March 10 – The Democratic Action Party Disciplinary Committee has today terminated the membership of Norhizam Bin Hassan Baktee (ADUN Pangkalan Batu, Melaka) as well as two others defectors from the party.<\/p>\n
In a statement today, the Disciplinary Committee Chairman Chong Chieng Jen announced the membership termination or Norhizam for crossing over from DAP to Perikatan Nasional.<\/p>\n
Two Perak ADUNs who have defected, namely Yong Choo Kiong (Tronoh) and Sivasubramaniam A\/L Athi Narayanan (Buntong) had both publicly announced quitting the party, and the Disciplinary Committee has also decided to terminate their membership.<\/p>\n
Chong advised all party members to disassociate themselves from these 3 defectors and that no member shall accept any official position offered by the Perikatan Nasional.<\/p>\n
“The Disciplinary Committee will take the sternest action against whoever that defects because nothing is more treacherous and worse than a betrayal of the people’s mandate.” said Chong.<\/p>\n
