KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 4 – The office of the Deputy Minister of Defense will be making a police report today against Raja Petra Kamarudin (RPK) over his blog post ‘The Fake Ashes of Chin Peng’. In a statement last night, the office of the deputy minister described that RPK had maliciously slandered deputy minister Liew Chin Tong, to be the mastermind behind the\u00a0smuggling of the ashes of former Malayan Communist Party (PKM) leader Chin Peng.<\/p>\n

According to the statement, the deputy minister has never made any comment regarding the matter and his office are taking the slander seriously. A police report will be lodged at Dang Wangi Police Station at 11am today.<\/p>\n

The Fake Ashes of Chin Peng<\/strong><\/h5>\n

RPK’s blog post entitled The Fake Ashes of Chin Peng<\/a> was published on Dec 3rd, 2019 alleging Chin Tong to be the one who mooted the idea.\"\"<\/p>\n

“The country is being hit by yet another of many controversies, this time involving the ashes, or more accurately the alleged ashes of Chin Peng. Yes, alleged ashes, because no one has proven or can prove that the ashes are indeed the ashes of Chin Peng. In fact, according to Liew Chin Tong\u2019s inner circle, the ashes are not Chin Peng\u2019s ashes at all.<\/p>\n

“This idea of smuggling Chin Peng\u2019s ashes into Malaysia was mooted by Chin Tong, DAP\u2019s strategist and mastermind, months before the Tanjung Piai by-election last month. That by-election proved that not only have the Malays swung back to Muafakat Nasional but even a large section of the Chinese population has abandoned Pakatan Harapan, and by extension DAP.” RPK wrote in his blog Malaysia Today.<\/p>\n
