PETALING JAYA, Aug 5 (Bernama) – PKR vice-president Rafizi\u00a0Ramli\u00a0confirms he will be contesting for the party\u00a0deputy presidency in its upcoming polls following the submission of his nomination form today.<\/p>\n
The form was submitted by his representative at PKR headquarters here about 11.30 am.<\/p>\n
According to PKR Elections Committee secretary Ismail Yusof, they had received two nomination papers for the party vice-presidency \u2013\u00a0namely from\u00a0Selayang Member of Parliament\u00a0William Leong and former\u00a0Subang Jaya Municipal Council councillor\u00a0Micheal Tamil \u2013 as at noon.<\/p>\n
A total of 22 nomination forms were received for 20 positions in the PKR\u2019s Central Leadership Council.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile,\u00a0PKR vice-president Fuziah Salleh, who is also Kuantan\u00a0Member of Parliament (MP), had submitted her nomination form for the Wanita\u00a0chief\u00a0post about noon.<\/p>\n
The form was proposed by Selangor State Executive Councillor Rodziah Ismail and supported by Akademi Keadilan\u00a0Training Bureau Strategic director, Dr Zaliha Mustafa.<\/p>\n
Johor\u00a0Bahru\u00a0MP Akmal\u00a0Nasir and Kota\u00a0Anggerik\u00a0state assemblyman Najwan Halimi\u00a0had filed their nomination papers for the PKR\u2019s Youth wing, Angkatan Muda\u00a0Keadilan\u00a0or AMK, chief post.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Melaka\u00a0AMK deputy chief Naqiuddin Nazrin\u00a0had submitted the nomination form for the national AMK deputy chief post.<\/p>\n
