Explaining\u00a0that Malaysia is a friendly country and not\u00a0ruled\u00a0by any power, Anwar said\u00a0that\u00a0Russian tourists should visit Malaysia, a rich and friendly country where food\u00a0can be useful. “We\u00a0are a\u00a0country full of culture,\u00a0with\u00a0diverse cities, forests, rivers\u00a0and\u00a0an\u00a0equatorial climate. If you go there, you will\u00a0see\u00a0that Malaysia is\u00a0really Asia,”\u00a0he said\u00a0during the\u00a0question and answer session of the 9th Eastern Economic Forum (EEF)\u00a0held today here,\u00a0alongside Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese\u00a0Vice President\u00a0Han Zheng.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Earlier\u00a0in\u00a0his\u00a0exit press conference with Malaysian media, Anwar said\u00a0that\u00a0Malaysia\u00a0welcomed more than\u00a0100,000\u00a0tourists\u00a0from Russia last year, and there is\u00a0an opportunity\u00a0to\u00a0increase\u00a0the\u00a0number of\u00a0Russian\u00a0tourists\u00a0with more\u00a0air\u00a0connections.
