KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 5 – A strong earthquake,\u00a0measuring\u00a06.2 on the Richter scale, occurred at\u00a09:03\u00a0am today\u00a0along\u00a0the northern coast of Papua New Guinea, according to the Malaysian Meteorological Department.
It\u00a0said in\u00a0a\u00a0statement that the\u00a0epicenter\u00a0was 80\u00a0kilometers\u00a0east of Wiwak, Papua New Guinea, at a depth of 44\u00a0kilometers.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
