IPOH, Oct 6 —\u00a0Two\u00a0elderly men\u00a0were\u00a0killed\u00a0in an accident involving two vehicles at KM365 of\u00a0the North-South Expressway (NSE) northbound near Slim River early this morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Perak Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Operations Division assistant director Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad said the 5.45 am accident involved a Mitsubishi Pajero and a trailer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On arrival at the scene, firemen found the two victims, aged 83 and 76, trapped in the vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe victims were pronounced dead at the scene,\u201d he said in a statement today, adding that the trailer driver, aged 31, escaped unhurt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sabarodzi said firemen extricated their bodies from the wrecked vehicle before handing them over to the police for further action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
