JEMPOL, Nov 17<\/strong> — Barisan Nasional (BN) will be\u00a0able to form\u00a0a government because there are\u00a0no major issues that could threaten the party, said BN deputy chairman Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“There are no major issues, the party has decided our\u00a0PM (prime minister) candidate is Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob,”<\/em> he told reporters after the \u2018Sepetang Bersama Tok Mat\u2019 programme at Dewan Felda Raja Alias 2, here today.<\/p>\n\n\n

Mohamad said his confidence was also based on the latest information from a survey of voter attitudes which showed that support was in favor of the party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“UMNO conducts\u00a0more comprehensive study, we go\u00a0to\u00a0the ground, we have branches all over the country.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Many places have passed 50 per cent, but areas with\u00a0three or four-cornered fights, we don’t need 50 per cent…getting 43 to\u00a045 per cent is enough,”<\/em> he said.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
