KUALA LUMPUR, June 17<\/strong> — Bersatu Supreme\u00a0Leadership Council member Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali has described the idealism and principles of the party\u2019s struggle as his identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Senior Minister and Minister of International Trade and Industry said that in a statement\u00a0today, in which he also expressed thanks to party president\u00a0Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin for the latter\u2019s confidence in Mohamed Azmin\u2019s commitment with Bersatu as a political platform to continue fighting for the people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe idealism of Bersatu\u2019s struggle,\u00a0which includes the norms of life as well as caring policies that uplift the human dignity has succeeded in generating prosperity for the wellbeing of the people.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe will continue to work together with\u00a0all members of Bersatu to develop a government that is clean, transparent, with integrity and committed to upholding the\u00a0principles of good governance and to fight for social justice for the common prosperity of all the people,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Tuesday, Muhyiddin clarified that the rumours of several Bersatu members, including Mohamed Azmin and Dewan Rakyat Deputy Speaker Datuk Mohd Rashid Hasnon would quit the party, as baseless.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
