Pakatan Harapan (PH)\u00a0has finalised\u00a0seat allocations for the upcoming Johor state election, said Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) president Mohamad Sabu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said during the PH Presidential Council meeting on Monday, the coalition decided that Amanah and Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) would each contest\u00a020 seats\u00a0while DAP, 16.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, he said the list of candidates was still being discussed and has yet to be finalized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cAt the same time, we are still open for negotiations with any other parties if they want to cooperate with PH in the state election.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/newmalaysiatimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Screen-Shot-2022-01-27-at-15.49.44.png\" alt=\"allocations\" class=\"wp-image-13157\" width=\"485\" height=\"276\" srcset=\"https:\/\/newmalaysiatimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Screen-Shot-2022-01-27-at-15.49.44.png 754w, https:\/\/newmalaysiatimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Screen-Shot-2022-01-27-at-15.49.44-300x171.png 300w, https:\/\/newmalaysiatimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Screen-Shot-2022-01-27-at-15.49.44-175x100.png 175w, https:\/\/newmalaysiatimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Screen-Shot-2022-01-27-at-15.49.44-350x200.png 350w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 485px) 100vw, 485px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cIf their participation can further increase the chances for PH to secure victory,\u00a0all three party leaders will discuss the matter,\u201d<\/em> he told reporters in Permas Jaya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also present were Pasir Gudang Member of Parliament&nbsp;Hassan Abdul Karim and Johor Amanah chairman&nbsp;Aminolhuda Hassan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mohamad said talks on cooperation with other parties such as Malaysian United Democratic Alliance (MUDA) and\u00a0Parti Pejuang Tanah Air (Pejuang) were still ongoing and the outcome would be known in a day or two.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, Aminolhuda said the party\u2019s list of candidates was ready and was currently awaiting confirmation from the central leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Elaborating, he said 14 out of the total 20 seats allocated for Amanah would be contested by&nbsp;new faces with some of them being young candidates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On PH Presidential Council\u2019s decision to allow PKR to contest using its own logo in the Johor state election, Mohamad said the move&nbsp;would not confuse voters as they were already familiar with&nbsp;both PKR and PH\u2019s&nbsp;logos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cFor me, there is no problem for PKR to use its own logo in representing PH,\u201d<\/em> he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/newmalaysiatimes.com\/\">NMT<\/a> as reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bernama.com\/en\/politics\/news.php?id=2047153\">Bernama<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>JOHOR BAHRU, Jan 27\u00a0&#8212;
