MARANG, Jan 15\u00a0\u00a0— Kuala Nerus Member of Parliament\u00a0Datuk Dr. Mohd Khairuddin Aman Razali\u00a0has been\u00a0dropped as a member of the\u00a0PAS Central Committee for the 2021-2023 session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The matter was confirmed by party president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang when met by reporters after delivering his weekly lecture in Rusila here today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis is normal in PAS. We have our disciplinary board. Those who have disciplinary problems can be advised to take up other positions or perform other duties or be suspended or sacked. There are many reasons. These are the procedures in the party,\u201d<\/em> he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is learned that the removal of Mohd Khairuddin from his position was finalized at the party\u2019s Central Committee meeting in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The former Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister failed to retain his position as a Central Committee member for the 2021-2023 session during the party\u2019s 67th Annual Muktamar (Assembly) in November last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, he was reappointed to the post with two other leaders namely\u00a0Dr. Mohd Zuhdi Marzuki and Nik Abduh Nik Abdul Aziz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
