MCMC"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 4&nbsp;&#8212;&nbsp;Over 17 rural settlements and areas around Paya Besar, Pahang, have been receiving better broadband services through the 4G network after a new tower was constructed and 19 transmitter stations were upgraded as of August&nbsp;31.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) in a statement today said among the areas that have received better coverage through the National Digital Network (Jendela) were Felda Bukit Sagu 1, Bukit Gambang Resort City, Felda Lepar Hilir 1, Felda Lepar Hilir 2, Felda Lepar Hilir 3, Felda Panching Timur and Felda Bukit Sagu 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other areas include the Pahang Matriculation College, Sungai Semuji, the&nbsp;East Coast Expressway (LPT1), Sri Jaya Interchange, Gambang R&amp;R area, Kampung Gelugor, Kampung Kolek, Kampung Batu 37, Kampung Paya Bungor Kiri and Kampung Semuji.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIn total,\u00a023 new towers will be built and 67 existing transmitter stations will be upgraded to 4G network under Jendela\u00a0in Paya Besar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/newmalaysiatimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Screen-Shot-2021-09-04-at-13.42.18.png\" alt=\"paya besar\" class=\"wp-image-11301\" width=\"508\" height=\"315\" srcset=\"https:\/\/newmalaysiatimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Screen-Shot-2021-09-04-at-13.42.18.png 586w, https:\/\/newmalaysiatimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Screen-Shot-2021-09-04-at-13.42.18-300x186.png 300w, https:\/\/newmalaysiatimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Screen-Shot-2021-09-04-at-13.42.18-161x100.png 161w, https:\/\/newmalaysiatimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Screen-Shot-2021-09-04-at-13.42.18-350x217.png 350w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 508px) 100vw, 508px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;For fixed-line broadband services, a total of 4,545 premises will be provided with fiber-optic network connection,\u201d the statement read.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the statement, a survey was conducted last Thursday to monitor the progress of the projects involved,\u00a0and work on the\u00a0Jendela\u00a0implementation is\u00a0expected to be completed in stages starting from the end of December 2021 until the end of March 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the meantime, MCMC also urged the public to make use of the Jendela Map to check on the broadband service network coverage in their housing area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They are also advised to give feedback or submit complaints to the service providers to improve the quality and coverage of broadband services in their respective areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visit <a href=\"https:\/\/jendela.my\">https:\/\/jendela.my<\/a>&nbsp;for further information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8212;
