PM"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 3 &#8212; A&nbsp;motion to debate and annul the emergency ordinances can be brought forth to the Parliament sitting slated next month, says Prime Minister&nbsp;Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said&nbsp;it was in accordance with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong&nbsp;Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri\u2019ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah\u2019s decree and Article 150 (3) of the Federal Constitution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe motion will be discussed at the Cabinet meeting tomorrow and it is hoped that it will solve the polemics on the revocation of the emergency ordinances in a harmonious and constitutional way,\u201d he said in a statement here today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/newmalaysiatimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/Screen-Shot-2021-08-03-at-17.49.27.png\" alt=\"ordinances\" class=\"wp-image-10529\" width=\"503\" height=\"266\" srcset=\"https:\/\/newmalaysiatimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/Screen-Shot-2021-08-03-at-17.49.27.png 585w, https:\/\/newmalaysiatimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/Screen-Shot-2021-08-03-at-17.49.27-300x159.png 300w, https:\/\/newmalaysiatimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/Screen-Shot-2021-08-03-at-17.49.27-189x100.png 189w, https:\/\/newmalaysiatimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/Screen-Shot-2021-08-03-at-17.49.27-350x185.png 350w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 503px) 100vw, 503px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt is notified that the process of revoking the emergency ordinances by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong as advised by the Cabinet on July 23, 2021, cannot be completed,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Muhyiddin said according to the Federal Constitution, the end of the Proclamation of Emergency on Aug 1 has made the revocation of the emergency ordinances academic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8212;
