JEDDAH, May 10 — The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) will hold next Tuesday, at the request of Palestine, an emergency meeting to discuss the escalating Israeli attacks in East Jerusalem, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

The meeting, which scheduled to be held at the level of the permanent representatives, will also be discussing matters on the Israeli occupation authorities’ plan to forcibly displace dozens of Palestinian families from their homes in the Sheikh Jarrah neighbourhood, as well as the continuous attacks on the holy sites, especially Al-Aqsa Mosque, and on the worshippers.
