SEREMBAN, Sept 28 – Several former Negeri Sembilan State Executive Council (Exco) members arrived at the Negeri Sembilan Islamic Religious Council (MAINS) Tower on Monday morning to have their statements recorded by a specialized team from Bukit Aman following the ongoing political and constitutional crisis in the state.
The former Exco members—including Datuk Faizal Ramli, Mohd Fairuz Mohd Isa, Datuk Mustapha Nagoor, Siti Nur Umaira binti Hasim, Suhaimizan Bizar, and Datuk Razali Abu Samah—arrived individually at the venue starting from 10:00 AM.
Bukit Aman police officers and investigation personnel were stationed at Menara MAINS to conduct the recording of statements.
The exercise follows a statement by Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Mohd Khalid Ismail, who confirmed that police had summoned the former Exco members to assist in investigations into the administrative and royal institution crisis following multiple police reports lodged regarding the situation.
Police will also record statements from several other witnesses and relevant individuals to complete the investigation.
