KUALA LUMPUR, March 5 – UMNO and PAS leadership met earlier today at the Umno headquarters at Putra World Trade Centre to talk about unity coalition. The two parties had been working together in the recent by-elections in Cameron Highlands and Semenyih. UMNO which represented Barisan Nasional had won both by-elections with the help of PAS election machinery.

Seen at the meeting are leaders of both parties; among them are Deputy President Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man, Sec-Gen Takiyuddin Hassan, PAS Research Center Director Dr Zuhdi Marzuki and few others. The host, UMNO had more representatives; among them are Acting President Mohamad Hassan, Sec-Gen Annuar Musa, Youth Chief Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki and few others.

Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan later declared that they were now “married”, The Star reported.

Photos of the meeting seem to have spread on social media.

MCA and MIC to leave BN and form MACAI

Jokes about MCA and MIC leaving Barisan Nasional and forming Malaysian Association of Chinese and Indian or MACAI seem to have spread on social media. The 2 parties met to discuss their future yesterday.

It seems Barisan Nasional’s Sec-Gen Nazri Aziz effort to split the coalition of racial parties are working while Mohamad Hassan and other UMNO leaders work on unity talk with PAS.
