BEIJING, December 7 – Trade turnover between the United States and China in the first 11 months of 2022 grew 2.4 per cent year-on-year to $697.694 billion, China’s General Administration of Customs said.
Sputnik reported that the United States remained in the top three trading partners of China, along with ASEAN and the European Union.
According to Chinese customs data, exports from China to the United States in January-November increased 3.4 per cent year-on-year and amounted to US$535.995 billion, while the United States supplied goods worth US$161.699 billion to China, which is 0.5 per cent less than in the same period last year.
Sputnik also reported that Russia-China trade in the first 11 months of 2022 grew by 32 per cent to a record US$172.406 billion, China’s General Administration of Customs said.
During the reporting period, China imported goods to Russia worth US$67.334 billion, an increase of 13.4 per cent on the same period in 2021; deliveries from Russia to China increased by 47.5 per cent, amounting to US$105.072 billion.
Separately, in November, trade between the two countries amounted to US$18.256 billion: Russia supplied goods worth US$10.545 billion to China; China supplied goods worth US$7.711 billion to Russia.
